About CRMjen

I’ve been around. My name is Jennifer Phillips, and I love puzzles. If you’re into this stuff, you’ve got to. In my current role, that “figure it out” drive has come in handy. My time is spent thinking through laser-focused Social Media listerning & engagment, integrations, automations, process improvement, evangelization, product evaluations, and preaching “Best practice, Best Practice, Best Practice” to anyone within earshot.

Credentials and Pretty Pictures

I’m a strategic SCRM enthusiast with over 10 years (just over, okay?! How many years over? Let’s not go there! Yikes!) experience. I started down this path when the a cloud was just a pretty thing floating in the sky. Now it’s where I live. Very exciting to nerds like me! I love this industry and the tangible change that is afoot as a result of it.

I cut my teeth working  first in a Senior Management roles and eventually as the Director of Global Marketing Data Services (leading enterprise CRM and Integrated Marketing) for industry-leading (gotta say it, don’tcha know) hospitality brands. Until recently, I led the Social Business charge as the Social Enterprise Discipline Lead for a Salesforce.com Gold consulting partner.  Today, I have the best job in Cloud computing. I work delivering Customer Success for the Salesforce Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Salesforce.com. My focus is helping non-profit and higher education customers achieve (and exceed) their social media goals – measurably.  My clients are Exact Target Marketing Cloud customers. Of course, it has to be said that the words, opinions, and content you find here are my own and not my employer’s.

What I do when I’m not working? Well, think, read, tweet (@CRMjen)  and learn as much as I can about my passion (SCRM), of course! Sadly, the hubby can attest, I assure you.

I’m the co-leader for the Orlando Salesforce.com User Group. In March of 2011, 2012 and again in 2013 I was named  a Salesforce.com MVP (which is a tremendous honor). MVPs are recognized by Salesforce.com to be product experts who are leaders within the Salesforce community. It’s an incredible group of people to be associated with and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have been bestowed the designation thrice!

I’m a founding member of the Dreamforce to YOU – Florida event team. We’re the folks who put on a fabulously fun annual event in 2010, 2011, and 2012 for the state of Flordia’s Salesforce.com User Group Community. I loved being a driving force behind this event because it gave us all a little taste of Dreamforce (Salesforce.com’s annual Global Gathering) in the Spring.

I have a penchant for gardening, mosaic arts, and stand-up paddleboarding and may just have a “go” bag in the garage because zombie-pocalypse. For those that care, I love cupcakes, too. In my next life, I’ll be a baker.
